Jewelle Carroll is an Associate in the firm's Property Practice.

Jewelle's practice includes matters related to resort property and condominium developments, real estate sales and purchases, including local financing, various regulatory matters and immigration matters.

Recent engagements include:

• Representing purchasers on the acquisition of property and advising them on matters as it relates to title and ownership structure including the incorporation process.
• Advising clients on Real Property Tax issues and successfully representing them in appeals to the Department of Inland Revenue.
• Assisting a developer with successfully defending appeals under the Planning and Subdivision Act 2010.
• Advising foreign clients on Bahamian property law and regulations, including the submission of applications to the Bahamas Investment Authority and the Central Bank of The Bahamas, when required.
• Drafting various title documents, including conveyances, deed of gifts, mortgages, and leases.
