The event, held at the HKEX Connect Hall on Friday 27th March 2026, brought together approximately 600 distinguished guests in the legal community, clients, partners, friends, and colleagues. With the theme "Your Future, Our Heritage", the reception honoured the firm's legacy while embracing an innovative future.

Guests were welcomed with a traditional lion dance—a ritual that blesses us with good fortune, prosperity, and courage; as Deacons have endured through war, change, and growth.
Ms. Lilian Chiang, Senior Partner of Deacons, delivered an opening speech reflecting on the firm's extraordinary journey. Founded in 1851, Deacons has evolved with Hong Kong, intertwining with our city’s businesses and growth.
Guests were then treated a striking LED dance performance, representing innovation and the technological frontier—as we move confidently into the future.
With 175 years of continuous operations, Deacons stands as Hong Kong's premier law firm. The event celebrated another chapter in the firm's ongoing journey, which also reminded our responsibility to uphold justice and serve our city and its community.
