Greenspoon Marder Secures Approval for 151,052-Square-Foot Warehouse in South Florida

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 9, 2026 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that Land Use & Zoning partners Elizabeth Somerstein and Dennis D. Mele successfully obtained Town Council approval for the site plan of a new 151,052-square-foot industrial warehouse for Dalfen Industrial, one of North America’s leading industrial real estate owners and developers.
The project will transform the 16.2-acre site, currently home to the Sparez bowling alley, into a modern Class A warehouse facility that is in response to surging demand for industrial space in Broward County. Located in Davie, Fla., the redevelopment will fully replace the existing 61,460-square-foot bowling alley with a state-of-the-art warehouse.
The project continues with a broader trend in Broward County in which commercial properties are being repositioned to meet strong demand for industrial space, an area where rents, absorption, and occupancy remain at near-historic highs.
