35 Years as a Moment to Reflect, Reconnect and Look Ahead

As a new year begins, Čechová & Partners looks back on a year that marked the start of its 35th anniversary celebrations. The milestone offered an opportunity not only to reflect on the firm’s history, but also to reconnect with those who have been part of its journey and to reaffirm its direction for the future.

To mark the anniversary, the firm introduced a special edition anniversary logo, used from May 2025 through April 2026. It serves as a visual reminder of how much has changed over the past 35 years – in the world, in the legal profession and in the way legal services are delivered – while the firm’s core values of professionalism, flexibility and integrity have remained unchanged.

One of the highlights of the year was a celebratory evening held at Lab 28, on the top floor of Bratislava’s tallest office building, hosted by renowned Slovak actor Jozef Vajda. The event brought together clients, partners, colleagues and friends of the firm, and featured performances by opera singer Andrea Danková and internationally recognised harpist Michal Matejčík. The programme also reflected the firm’s long-term commitment to pro bono work through the participation of civic associations Spolu s odvahou and Bystriny.

Alongside the anniversary celebrations, the past year brought significant professional recognition. Čechová & Partners achieved a Tier 1 ranking in Employment in The Legal 500 EMEA 2025, continued its long-standing presence in Chambers Europe, received strong firm and individual rankings in IFLR1000, and was ranked in the Elite category of GCR 100 2026. The firm also strengthened its international reputation in Healthcare & Life Sciences, including recognition in LMG Life Sciences and individual rankings in the Lexology Index. These achievements were complemented by client seminars, industry events, and team volunteering initiatives.
