Ms. Chu's practice focuses on IP-related legal services. She has extensive experience in patent invalidation, patent infringement litigation, and administrative litigation. She also provides legal opinions on patent prosecution, patent analysis, and counseling. She specializes in technical fields such as telecommunications, audio and video codec, semiconductor, computer science, consumer electronics, opto-electronics, and illumination.
Ms. Chu has represented many industry-leading companies in complex patent disputes. Ms. Chu is experienced in infringement litigation and invalidation proceedings of standard essential patents (SEPs) in the fields of telecommunications, audio, and video codec, etc., and has handled many influential cases.
Ms. Chu has assisted many globally renowned companies to obtain patents in China and has provided them with valuable advice for patent prosecution strategies in China. Ms. Chu has also helped numerous Chinese companies obtain patents in Europe, the United States, and other jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Chu practiced as a patent agent for four years at Liu, Shen & Associates, at China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. as a senior patent agent for nine years, and at a top-tier European law firm as a senior patent counsel for one year.

Education
Ms. Chu received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and a Master of Engineering in Microelectronics in 2004 from Tsinghua University.
