Patent prosecution across a broad industry range

Vickie Cook manages global patent portfolios for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies as well as research institutions. She develops offensive filing strategies for market protection, prepares freedom-to-operate, infringement and validity analyses to help clients navigate competitive landscapes, and performs due diligence to support mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and other intellectual property (IP) transactions. Her technical experience spans biomedical, mechanical, electromechanical and electrical technologies across a broad range of industries, including:

Medical devices and digital health, including surgical instruments, implantables, medical imaging, wearable health sensors and cardiovascular monitoring

Biotechnology and diagnostics, including biosensors, microfluidics, point-of-care diagnostics, molecular analysis platforms and life sciences research tools

Computing, electronics and software, including personal systems, AR/VR and wearable technologies, computer vision, display technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics and fintech applications

Industrial automation, controls and electrical infrastructure, including PLCs, sensors, electric heat tracing, process monitoring, industrial software and smart manufacturing systems
