Vasco Rodrigues is a partner in the Banking and Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions practice areas of Garrigues Portugal.

Vasco Rodrigues has been developing his activity mainly within the areas of Banking and Financing, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Markets and has considerable experience in the acquisition and sale of companies, corporate finance, both in the context of financing agreements and bond issues, as well as in the acquisition and sale of non-performing loans portfolios. In these transactions Vasco has advised both national and international clients.

Before joining Garrigues, Vasco was a lawyer at CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut between 2004 and 2016.

Since 2012, Vasco has been referenced each year in the Chambers Europe directory guide as "Associate to Watch in Private Equity".

In 2003, he worked as trainee Lawyer at Mullerat (Barcelona), having initiated his traineeship at in 2002 at the law firm Macedo Vitorino & Associados, in Lisbon.

He was admitted to the Portuguese Bar in 2006.
