Profile
Turner Collins is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. With nationwide experience in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels, he handles product liability, toxic tort, construction, and commercial matters. He regularly assists clients with legal strategy, motion practice, and appeals. Turner also has assisted as an “appellate lawyer at trial,” responsible for briefing dispositive motions, Daubert and Frye motions, motions in limine, and post-judgment motions; handling evidentiary and legal issues arising over the course of trial; and ensuring that appellate issues are preserved.
Before joining the firm, Turner was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York, where he gained experience coordinating national litigation defense and resolution strategy for major corporations as a member of the litigation department. Turner received his J.D. and LL.M. from Duke University School of Law, where he was a research editor for the Duke Law Journal. He has a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
