Profile
Thomas Thorndike is a partner at the Lima office of Garrigues. He specializes in finance transactions (corporate finance, acquisition financing, project finance, etc.), capital markets, Corporate Law, M&A, commercial contracts, business and contract-related matters, projects and pre-bankruptcy financial restructuring
Prior to joining Garrigues, he was a partner at Rubio Leguía Normand, having worked as an associate of the New York office of Weil Gotshal & Manges and of the Madrid office of Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.
He has significant experience in all types of finance transactions, commercial and contractual related matters, mergers & acquisitions and the issuance of securities in capital market transactions.
His professional career has been recognized by the most prestigious international legal publications, including Chambers & Partners, IFLR and Who's Who, among others.
In the academic field, he is a professor of the Project Finance course at Universidad del Pacifico.
He is admitted to practice both in Lima, Peru and the state of New York.

Master's Degree in Law (LLM) at Columbia University.
Diploma in Electricity, Gas and Energy Regulations from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
