  • Represented Canada’s Teekay Tankers in legal proceedings in Korea and advised on its British LMAA arbitration process against a Korean shipyard S
  • Advised the Netherland’s Damen Group on the acquisition of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering’s Romanian establishment
  • Represented a Korean insurance company H in an international ad hoc arbitration case against an American reinsurance company
  • Advised a Korean investment and securities firm N on the exercise of its security rights and sales of establishments in Romania
  • Advised companies including a French manufacturer K, British manufacturer U, Japanese shipping company M and French forwarding company C on execution and performance of investment contracts in Korea
  • Undertook debt collection against a Korean shipping company H on behalf of an Italian freightforwarder H
  • Represented a Chinese forwarder S in a legal proceeding of a provisional arrest of the vessels in Korea against a Chinese shipping company H
  • Represented a Saudi Arabian ship-owner in a lawsuit on product liability against a Korean manufacturer N
  • Enforced international arbitration awards from SIAC, LMAA JCAA, Kazakhstan IAC and AAA and provided legal advice in relation thereto
  • Advised UPS Expeditors and Geodis Wilson on maritime/aviation claims
  • Advised numerous foreign creditors from Spain, Canada and Singapore on a case regarding rehabilitation of STX Offshore & Shipbuilding
  • Advised numerous foreign creditors from Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of America Australia and Italy on a case regarding rehabilitation and bankruptcy of Hanjin Shipping
  • Advised the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries on compensation and salvage services following the tragic Sinking of MV Sewol
  • Advised the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on ICC arbitration regarding Incheon Bridge
