Mr. Suk Min KIM is a foreign attorney at D&A LLC. His practice is primarily focused on International Transaction, International Arbitration & Litigation, Foreign Investments (In-Bound & Out-Bound), Intellectual Property, IT & Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and Energy & Infrastructure.

Prior to joining D&A, Mr. Kim worked as an in-house lawyer for leading conglomerates such as LG Electronics, Daewoo Engineering & Construction, and LG Display for more than 12 years, dealing with various legal issues related to various regions, countries, industries, products, and business models.

Based on his abundant and extensive experience and expertise in international corporate legal practice, he is conducting legal advice and dispute response for overseas business/investment of Korean companies and domestic business/investment of foreign companies.

  • |N|- Represented Aekyung Industrial Co., Ltd. in a wide range of litigation related to humidifier disinfectants, including civil damages claims, inter-company indemnity claims, criminal trials, administrative revocation actions, and constitutional petitions
  • |N|- Secured a Supreme Court remand in the occupational negligence case involving humidifier disinfectant-related deaths (Case No. 2024Do1856)
  • |N|- Won a KRW 3.1 billion indemnity claim lawsuit against major conglomerate S (Seoul High Court Case No. 2024Na2003129)
  • |N|- Responded to investigations by regulatory and law enforcement authorities, including the Korea Fair Trade Commission, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the prosecution and police, including corporate raids and suspect interrogations
