Stian Alexander Slaatta heads Simonsen Vogt Wiig's Corporate M&A team and the firm's transaction department.

Stian is specialized within, and has more than a decade’s experience working with, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and equity capital market transactions, and he has vast experience from working on structured transaction processes and cross-border transactions.

Stian advises listed and privately owned companies and their management and board of directors, investment banks, financial sponsors such as private equity firms and family offices, governmental owners, blue chip industrial players and founders with MA& and equity capital transactions. In addition to corporate governance, ongoing strategic advice and corporate and securities laws matters.

Stian is ranked by the recognized rating agencies Chambers & Partners and IFLR1000 within his practice areas M&A and ECM transactions.

Stian’s ECM experience includes a number of private placements and rights issues for both listed and unlisted issuers, as well as IPOs and listings on Euronext Oslo’s marketplaces.

In 2024, he ranked as one of the most active category 1 corporate lawyers in Norway based on deal count.
