Steve Segal is a Shareholder in Buchalter's Denver office and a member of the Firm's Corporate Law Practice group. Mr. Segal advises clients on a broad range of business and transactional matters focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, fund formation, and technology and other commercial transactions.  He takes a hands-on, practical approach to help each client achieve its specific objectives.

Mr. Segal represents start-up, emerging growth and mature operating companies through their business life cycle from formation to exit.   His clients also include venture capital funds, strategic investors, and high-net worth individuals.  His clients are involved in a diverse array of industries, such as data security, technology, health care, food and beverage, consumer products and services, business-to-business services, media and entertainment, financial services, manufacturing and distribution.

Mr. Segal serves as outside general counsel and strategic adviser to most of his clients. In this role, he advises on matters such as entity structuring and capital formation, corporate governance, transaction structuring, securities law compliance, customer and vendor contracts, equity compensation, and day-to-day legal matters.
