Profile

Simone Schürch is a Senior Associate at Walder Wyss. He primarily focuses on all aspects of technology law, including intellectual property, data protection and information law. He also advises clients in regulatory and employment matters. In these areas he acts in both non-contentious matters and before courts.

After studying at the Universities of Fribourg (BLaw) and Zurich (MLaw), Simone Schürch was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2018. He earned an LL.M. in Law & Technology from UC Berkeley in 2023 and is a certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he worked two years as inhouse counsel in the blockchain field. Before that, he practiced at major commercial law firms in Zurich and Geneva.

Simone Schürch is fluent in Italian, German, French and English. He is registered with the Bar and admitted to practice in all of Switzerland.
