Silvia Caamaño Sánchez is a senior associate in the Tax practice area.

She has extensive experience in the provision of tax advisory services on an ongoing basis to Spanish and multinational companies, particularly entities operating in the energy and transport sectors. She therefore has in-depth knowledge of both corporate taxation in general and the specific tax issues arising in relation to entities in these sectors.

She is an expert in indirect taxation, among other fields, and a member of Garrigues' team of VAT specialists. She also has considerable experience in business restructuring transactions, tax planning and family business matters.

On the other hand, she has taught on the Master's Degree in Accounting and Tax Law course at IFFE Business School and on the Garrigues Executive Master's Degree in Business Law course. She regularly speaks at seminars and conferences held by the Firm and various specialist centers (Escuela de Negocios de A-Fundación (ABANCA), Asociación de Empresarios Ferrolterra, IFFE Business School, etc...).

Silvia is a member of the La Coruña Bar Association.
