Rute Silva Gomes is a senior associate in the areas of privacy and data protection, information technology and corporate law and commercial contracts.

She has vast experience in data protection auditing and in the implementation of the necessary measures for ensuring compliance with the relevant Portuguese and European legislation on data protection matters, and on issues relating to recurring advice on questions of privacy, data protection and cybersecurity.

She also has significant experience in the preparation and negotiation of various types of contracts, including software licensing agreements and commercial contracts.

Rute has participated as speaker at various conferences and events on data protection and at professional awareness and training sessions.

She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
