Profile
Roberto Vidal is a Partner and co-leads the Corporate & Commercial Law and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups at Morgan & Morgan. He also plays an active role in the firm's Logistics & International Trade, Banking & Finance, Telecommunications, Technology & Data Protection, and Insurance & Reinsurance practices.
With over 16 years of experience, Roberto has advised and led transactions across industries including insurance, ports, energy, technology, real estate, banking, mining, capital markets, hospitality, and retail. He is widely recognized for his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, having led and participated in some of Panama's most significant deals in sectors such as banking, automotive, insurance, mining, beverages, supermarkets, hotels, highways, and telecommunications.
Roberto is also one of the leading lawyers in Panama's FinTech sector, advising companies on payment platforms, electronic wallets, and organized crypto-asset markets. He currently serves on boards of directors for companies in the banking, automotive, and FinTech industries.
Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as an International Associate in the Miami office of White & Case, LLP, handling corporate law matters including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and securities offerings.
