Rita Bundhoo is a Tax Manager at ENS in Mauritius.

Rita advises on the tax considerations for corporate transactions including acquisitions, mergers, domiciliation and restructuring, conducts tax due diligence and health checks and assists clients with tax assessments. Rita also has a strong knowledge of tax compliance, including corporate income tax, payroll taxes and VAT.

Rita previously managed client portfolios which included banks, public interest entities, groups of companies with complex tax arrangements, multinational enterprises and high net worth individuals, ensuring their compliance with Mauritius tax legislations.

In addition to her compliance expertise, Rita has assisted clients on complex domestic tax matters as well as on cross-border transactions, where she has advised on the application of double taxation agreements, withholding tax implications, substance requirements, and tax considerations for inbound and outbound investments

Over the course of her career, Rita has also been engaged in interacting with the Mauritius Revenue Authority, in respect of tax audits and assessments.
