Profile
Raúl Suárez is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance practice.
He has extensive experience in advising lenders and debtors on all kinds of finance and refinancing transactions, including corporate and project finance transactions.
He also provides recurring advice to sponsors and financial institutions on contractual and corporate law matters related to project development, mainly in the renewable energy sector. In addition, he has participated in M&A deals and securities offerings on capital markets.
Between September 2019 and June 2020 he pursued his professional practice as an International Visiting Professional at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, participating in numerous cross-border corporate and sovereign finance deals, mainly in Latin America.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
