Puneet Bhullar is a partner in the firm's Regulatory Compliance and Corporate practice groups. She advises marketing companies, media brands, technology businesses, and consumer-facing companies on regulatory compliance, strategic transactions, and day-to-day business matters. Her practice focuses on helping businesses navigate advertising and marketing regulations, consumer protection laws, privacy and data disclosure requirements, promotional campaigns, and investigations or inquiries involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other government agencies while minimizing legal, operational, and reputational risk. Clients rely on her practical, business-oriented advice to help them pursue opportunities while managing legal and reputational risk.

In her corporate practice, Ms. Bhullar concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, complex financings, equity and debt transactions, joint ventures, strategic business partnerships, and critical business disputes. Her combination of regulatory compliance and corporate experience allows her to provide practical, business-oriented counsel to clients operating in highly regulated environments.

Prior to focusing her practice on corporate and regulatory matters, Ms. Bhullar practiced commercial and business litigation with an emphasis on complex commercial disputes. Her litigation background provides valuable insight into risk assessment, regulatory enforcement, and dispute avoidance strategies.

Before entering the legal profession, Ms. Bhullar worked at Goldman Sachs, where she supported several Private Wealth Management teams advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. In that role, she gained firsthand experience working with sophisticated financial portfolios, wealth management strategies, and complex business and financial matters. Her experience in a demanding, fast-paced financial services environment provides her with a strong understanding of the operational, financial, and regulatory challenges faced by businesses ranging from emerging companies to Fortune 500 organizations.

Ms. Bhullar earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. During law school, she clerked for prominent tax law firms, assisting clients with a variety of tax controversies and regulatory matters, including offshore tax compliance, tax audits, tax liens, property tax disputes, tax fraud defense, and employment tax issues. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
