Philippe Brassard is a member of the Business Law group. His practice focuses mainly on mergers and acquisitions.

He regularly acts for and advises institutional and private investors on company acquisitions.

In addition to his practice in transactional law, Mr. Brassard assists entrepreneurs in various business development stages, including incorporation and organization, in drafting shareholders' agreements, and in drafting and reviewing service contracts, franchising agreements and other types of documents.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Brassard has had the opportunity to work on several major equity or asset purchase and sale transactions in a number of areas.

He is known for his business acumen, built on problem solving and value creation.

Representative mandates

• Representation of NorthStar Earth & Space Inc. in a Series C equity and convertible debt funding round by five investors: Cartesian Capital Group, LLC, Investissement Québec, Luxembourg Future Fund, Telesystem Space Inc. and Luxembourg Space Sector Development SCSp (finalist for Deal of the Year: Private Equity at the M&A Awards Gala 2023)
• Representation of institutional and private investors in asset and share acquisitions, and in equity investments in various companies
• Representation of an aerospace start-up in several rounds of financing, and acting as the company corporate secretary
