Petra is a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice. With over 12 years of experience, she specialises in commercial and corporate litigation, banking and finance and private enforcement of competition law.

She regularly advises Portuguese and international clients in various sectors, including in class and collective actions.

Petra graduated from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Lisbon School) and holds an LL.M. in International Transactions from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid) - in partnership with Fordham University (New York). She also holds a postgraduate qualification in arbitration from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She attended the 2nd Postgraduate Course in Law Enforcement, Compliance and Criminal Law and the XVI Postgraduate Course in Competition and Regulation, both at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon.

Prior to joining PLMJ, she worked as a lawyer at Garrigues and spent a year as a guest lecturer at the Catolica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, teaching economic and business law.
