Peace Umwari is an Associate at ENS in Rwanda.  

Peace specializes in corporate commercial, banking and finance.

Peace’s experience includes advising on matters relating to regulatory compliance in healthcare (pharmaceuticals), banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, business incorporation and restructuring, corporate governance and risk mitigation. Her role also includes drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, advising on tax related disputes, advising investors and foreigners on investment opportunities in Rwanda and immigration/ work permits and nationality areas and conducting legal due diligence.

Further, Peace is also experienced in employment law, data protection and privacy law, Intellectual property, advising clients well as assisting non-profit organizations including NGOs and foundations, government partnerships, as well as foreign currency, exchange controls, and foreign investment.

She is a member of Rwanda Bar Association and East African Law Society.
