Aretio Antón is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law practice of the Vigo office. She joined Garrigues in September 2007.

She mainly provides legal advice to companies and the authorities on labor, employment and social security matters.

She has extensive expertise in advising on business restructuring transactions (adopting both individual and collective measures), transfer of undertakings (business succession), workforce renewal and reorganization, collective bargaining, business groups, and in advising executives (contracts, termination, golden parachute clauses, etc.) and expatriate workers, among other matters.

She also has broad experience in dealings with the different courts in the labor jurisdiction.

She provides recurring advice to public authorities on the hiring of staff, collective dispute processes relating to the public employee regime, and acts in numerous court proceedings in the labor and judicial review jurisdictions.

Paula Aretio Antón is a member of the Vigo Bar Association.

She is a regular speaker at different forums, talks and conferences on labor law matters.
