Paolo Gnignati specializes in i) corporate consultancy for financial institutions and industrial companies with a particular focus on extraordinary reorganization and restructuring transactions of distressed companies and related turn around and debt restructuring; (ii) corporate litigation and bankruptcy.

He recently assisted: (i) a bank from Veneto region in Italy in the merger with a financial intermediary, aimed at creating an innovative operator in the credit sector; (ii) a bank in compulsory liquidation in the successful challenge for majority abuse of a capital increase in a finance company, which holds an equity interest in a listed company; (iii) two industrial companies, operating in the designer furniture production and in the electro-technical equipment design fields respectively, in their successful composition with creditors proceedings.

Before joining the firm in 2010, he worked in a leading international law firm as Head of the Litigation Department and he is currently Co-Head of the firm's Litigation and Arbitration Department.

He graduated “cum laude” in Law from the University of Padua and he is a member of the Association of Certified Auditors.

He speaks Italian and English.
