Nuria Cabré is partner in the Tax department. She joined Garrigues in September 2000 and has pursued her professional career at the firm since then.

She has extensive experience in providing tax advice to family businesses and their shareholders, and has participated in numerous corporate reorganization processes.

She provides ongoing tax advice to major business groups, in addition to advising individuals and family businesses/groups on a recurring basis in relation to personal income tax, wealth tax, corporate income tax and inheritance and gift tax.

She is an expert in corporate and asset restructuring processes: identification of optimum ownership structures from the perspective of the tax treatment of the shareholder - company, identification of the investment vehicles best suited to the business strategy, etc.

She also frequently takes part in seminars and conferences organized by Garrigues Abogados and regularly lectures on courses run by the Cataluña Economists' Association (at its Barcelona and Tarragona centers).

For the last few years, she has been among the tax lawyers featured in the US "Best Lawyers" publication.

Nuria Cabré is a member of the Barcelona Economists' Association.
