Profile
Natalia Gutiérrez Macías is a senior associate in the corporate practice in Madrid.
Within the M&A area, she advises on investments and divestments in Spanish companies by domestic and international private equity funds and industry operators.
She has also participated in numerous distressed transactions, acquiring considerable experience in the sale and purchase of assets (NPLs) and of companies subject to insolvency or pre-insolvency procedures.
She provides ongoing advice to Spanish companies and international groups present in Spain on corporate matters and commercial contracts, as well as on corporate restructuring processes.
She spent a year on secondment (September 2018-August 2019) at the London offices of Cravath as a Foreign Corporate Associate. During the year, her practice focused on securities market transactions, mainly high-yield bond issues.
Natalia is a member of the Madrid and New York (USA) Bar associations.
Education
LL.M. in Corporation Law, New York University School of Law (New York). Dean's Award scholarship.
Dual Degree in Law and Business Administration, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3). Magna cum laude in Law.
