As a partner in Greenspoon Marder's Labor and Employment and Class Action Defense practice groups and the firm's Chief Impact Officer, she has redefined what it means to practice law with purpose.
Her litigation expertise spans the complete spectrum of employment law, from discrimination complaints under Title VII to complex wage and hour disputes under the FLSA, ADA accommodations, FMLA compliance, and multi-jurisdictional class actions. Ms. Maysonet routinely shields employers from regulatory challenges across federal agencies, including the EEOC, DOL, and NLRB, with successful practice experience spanning Florida, Nevada, Utah, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
Recognized as a leading authority in the timeshare industry, Ms. Maysonet has drafted critical FHA and ADA compliance analyses for the American Resort and Development Association. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder LLP, Ms. Maysonet served as a Judge Advocate General in the United States Navy, where she represented service members in felony and misdemeanor cases. She also served as a Staff Judge Advocate and Counsel to the Captain of the Submarine Base at Kings Bay, Georgia. During that time, she was an advisor on issues relating to military discipline, labor relations, employment law for the civilian workforce and state and federal laws.
