Michael's practice focuses on domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, securitizations, infrastructure projects and general corporate law.

As part of the firm's Accounting Firm Mergers and Acquisitions team, Michael has gained significant experience advising accounting firms in establishing alternative practice structures and facilitating outside investments in those structures. He is also a key member of the firm's Digital Infrastructure team, as part of which he assists clients in the technology and telecommunications industries with respect to the development of subsea and terrestrial fiber optic networks. Michael has participated in transactions involving many of the world's most significant subsea cable system builds.

In addition to his corporate work, Michael routinely advises pro bono clients on a wide range of matters including marital support and child custody arrangements, landlord-tenant disputes and contract negotiation. While in law school, he was a member of the University of Miami School of Law's Innocence Clinic where he assisted in the exoneration efforts of wrongfully convicted individuals in Florida. Prior to joining the firm, Michael co-founded a nonprofit organization in the Bahamas that delivered school supplies to local children in need.
