Marta Clemente is a principal associate in the Banking and Finance practice. She has extensive expertise advising local and international clients in financing transactions, and, in particular, financial institutions in syndicated project financing, project financing and refinancings. She also specializes in sale and purchases of credit portfolios, advising purchasers in the acquision process as well as the financing of such purchase and the set of the internal management structure of the acquired portfolio.

She joined J&A Garrigues, S.L.P. in September 2009 upon graduating from a double degree in law and business administration at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid. From September 2013 to September 2014, Marta joined Garrigues' New York office, where she participated in numerous foreign law financing with a Spanish component.

Marta is member of the Madrid Bar Association.
