Maria Lidbom has over 20 years of experience in public procurement and related court proceedings, both as a lawyer and as a business law advisor.
Maria has worked with procurement law for 20 years. She has extensive experience in all types of procurement-related cases and proceedings, both in and outside of court. Maria represents clients in all types of procurement disputes, such as reviews, actions for invalidity, and cases concerning procurement fines. As a lawyer, she has successfully represented clients in procurement cases before the Supreme Administrative Court regarding applications on contract validity.
Maria assists both contracting authorities and entities as well as suppliers at every stage of the procurement process. Her advice within public procurement includes supporting both suppliers and contracting authorities during the procurement process, for example with strategic procurement law advice, review of procurements, and application of public contracts. Maria's solid experience has given her unique insight into the commercial and legal considerations required when the public and private sectors do business with each other, creating significant added value in her advisory work.
Maria also assists clients engaged in public sector transactions with advice on contractual matters within public procurement, questions relating to publicity and confidentiality, as well as other public law or contract law issues. She is also engaged as a lecturer and trainer at courses and conferences in public procurement and related legal areas.
