María Isabel Alvarado is a senior associate in the EU, antitrust, and intellectual property law practice areas.

She has over 10 years' experience. In the private sector, she has been an associate in the Antitrust and Intellectual Property practice areas at Lazo & De Romaña Abogados. She was also singled out for the position of legal manager of Procter & Gamble Perú S.R.L. and was head of legal affairs at Cemex Perú S.A. María Isabel has extensive experience in antitrust law, consumer protection, commercial advertising, administrative law, corporate law, intellectual property law and bureaucratic barriers, and in various areas of corporate and institutional management. In the public sector she has held the positions of advisor to the Chairman of the Governing Board and the managerial body of Indecopi, the Peruvian antitrust, consumer protection and intellectual property agency (November 2017 - February 2021).
