Manuela is a managing associate in the Dispute Resolution practice and has worked as a lawyer for 15 years. She has extensive experience in complex domestic and international arbitration cases, particularly relating to construction, energy, commercial and corporate disputes. In these cases, she has acted in various jurisdictions and under different regulations.

Manuela has an LL.M. in international business regulation, litigation and arbitration from New York University. She also completed postgraduate courses in public companies and capital markets at Universidade Cat lica Portuguesa, and in corporate law, focusing on public tenders and contracts, at Funda o Get lio Vargas (Brazil).

Manuela is admitted to practice as a lawyer in Portugal and Brazil.

Before joining PLMJ, she was a lawyer at the law firms CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut and Chaffetz Lindsey LLP in New York.
