Maja Jovancevic Setka is a Partner and co-heads the Banking & Finance Practice Group. She is an Independent Attorney at Law qualified in Serbia, practicing in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners, with more than 20 years of experience. Maja has practiced in all areas of corporate and commercial law, advising multinational banks, industries and trading companies, as well as government entities. She provides a full scope of legal assistance related to banking and finance matters, from large-scale financing transactions, regulatory matters and structured finance to distressed deals. Maja has led numerous complex financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers in a broad range of sectors, with particular expertise in real estate and acquisition financing, project finance and sovereign debt. Maja also specialises in the area of capital market regulation.
