Luis Sebastiá is Partner of the Commercial Law Department of Garrigues in Valencia where he has pursued his professional career following a period at Arthur Andersen. He specializes in Commercial and Civil Law, particularly in corporate, contract and real estate law. He has also participated in numerous M&A transactions and is a recognized expert in Corporate and Contract Law.

His areas of expertise include financial restructuring of companies and securities market, having taken part in different OPAs (Public Takeover Bid) and advising listed companies regularly.

He has wide experience in providing recurrent assessment in commercial matters, both on the corporate area as on many of the M&A transactions and of internal restructuring and also on the Real Estate Area, having taken part in several corporate transactions, specially, in the area of hotel management contracts and in Real Estate sales and purchase assets in development.

He is a professor at the Catholic University of Valencia since 2010, teaching Commercial Law in the degree of Law and ADE of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

He is a professor in the Master of Law at the University of Valencia.

He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the firm and various specialist centers.

Luis Sebastiá is member of the Governing Body of the Law Bar of Valencia, holding the position of First Deputy.
