Laura García is a principal associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law practice, and has spent her entire career at Garrigues, starting at the Barcelona office and moving to the Pamplona office in 2006.

She has broad experience in corporate law, particularly in board secretary duties at all kinds of companies. She has implemented and regularly works on developing corporate governance regulations.

She also provides recurring advice on pre-litigious situations deriving from shareholder disputes.

Her work regularly includes the planning and execution of corporate restructuring processes in relation to investments or divestments, and with a view to creating or reorganizing corporate groups.

Laura García is an expert in commercial contracts, including the preparation and negotiation of specific and standard contracts, as well as complex acquisitions.

She has also advised on international transactions involving joint ventures and on processes for the international expansion of Spanish companies.

She has collaborated with Universidad de Navarra, teaching classes on the Master's Degree in Business Law, and currently gives classes in corporate law on the Master's Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at Universidad Pública de Navarra.

Laura García was singled out in 2013 and 2017 as one of the best Spanish lawyers by US publication Best Lawyers.
