Laksha Juddoo Prayag is an Executive and Barrister at ENS in Mauritius, where she specializes in a spectrum of legal domains, including capital markets, renewable energy, general corporate and commercial law, encompassing mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, cross-border transactions, and a wide array of corporate affairs.

Her experience spans both the public and private sectors, advising listed and unlisted companies as well as financial institutions. Laksha has adeptly represented both issuers and noteholders in various note issuances, including listed offerings or preferential issuances. Notably, she played a pivotal role in facilitating the inaugural green bond issuance for the financing of renewable energy in Mauritius.

Laksha's expertise extends to negotiating and drafting corporate and commercial agreements, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, supplier agreements, and other commercial contracts. She also assists clients with regulatory matters, structuring considerations, and corporate governance concerns.

She has developed a strong interest in renewable energy and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. In this space, she regularly advises on connection agreements, Central Electricity Board schemes in Mauritius, as well as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations as well as Maintenance (OM) agreements.
