Mr. Kwang Soo KIM is a partner at D&A LLC. His practice is primarily focused on Reconstruction & Redevelopment, Real Estate Trust, Construction & Real Estate, Commercial, Criminal Defense Litigation, and Trial.

As a judge, Mr. Kim built extensive expertise over many years handling cases in construction, real estate, civil, and criminal matters. Since joining D&A, he has been actively engaged as an expert in construction/real estate and civil law, while leading the Litigation Group II and the Construction & Real Estate Team.

• Represented Korea National Railway in various legal matters, including arbitration regarding increased construction costs due to design changes in a private investment project and lawsuit related to the annulment of penalty impositions related to railroad construction, and delay penalty claims
• Represented multiple redevelopment and reconstruction partnerships in various legal matters, including injunctions for the suspension of the effectiveness of general meetings, prevention of the holding of general meetings, suspension of bidding procedures and lawsuits concerning the confirmation of contractor status, damages equivalent to the performance benefit due to the termination of construction contracts, and loan repayment claims
• Represented multiple construction companies, such as POSCO E&C and Hanwha, in disputes regarding claims for progress payments, defects, liquidated damages for delays, and injunctions against construction
• Represented Korea Land & Housing Corporation in various legal matters, including arbitration regarding increased construction costs due to price fluctuations in privately participated public housing projects and lawsuits for compensation related to land expropriation, damages related to land exchanges, and unjust enrichment concerning public rental housing
• Advised on matters related to the Act on Public-Private Partnerships in Infrastructure, the National Contract Act, the State Property Act, and the Railway Construction Act
• Represented a listed medical company in various legal matters, including responding to additional audit inquiries, filing a complaint for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and filing a defamation lawsuit against a former employee for posting false content on the National Petition bulletin board
