I provide clients with sensible and strategic solutions to successfully navigate all phases of the land entitlement process in Oregon and Washington, including residential and commercial development projects, surface mining permitting, and water rights.My style is to take a comprehensive approach, working with clients early on to develop creative and cost-efficient strategies to challenges that could impede their projects. To this end, I am adept at managing consultant teams and interfacing with local jurisdictions, whether it be through participation in local code amendment and zoning proceedings, negotiating development agreements, or preparing complex land use applications.I also represent clients in front of local decision-makers and defend permits and project approvals before the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, Washington Growth Management Hearings Board, and state courts.
