Profile

Kate litigates complex civil disputes for domestic and international clients in federal and state courts across the country. She dedicates a large portion of her practice to representing public and private companies in the energy, finance, manufacturing, and retail sectors, and has managed significant business, real estate, and environmental litigation.

Kate has notable experience at every phase of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal. She routinely leads motion practice and advises on fact and expert discovery.

In addition to her litigation practice, Kate advises issuers and underwriters on state and federal constitutional law matters with respect to securitized utility bond offerings.

Kate also maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented clients in Medicaid and Social Security disability benefit appeals and redetermination hearings, veterans in discharge upgrade applications, and a nonprofit organization in a landlord-tenant dispute.
