Profile
Kasper Laustsen is a partner in Plesner's Technology & Outsourcing team.
He specialises in advising on major technology projects and transactions, including IT-outsourcing, complex technology procurements, implementation projects and regulatory matters (such as NIS2, DORA, the Data Act, AI regulation and other technology-related regimes). Kasper also has substantial experience with IT carve-outs and the negotiation of transitional services agreements, brand and IP licence agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
He has acted on some of the most significant Danish IT disputes in recent years, including high-profile public sector matters and litigation arising from large-scale system replacements. Kasper provides advisory services to both customers and IT suppliers, contributing to the development of contract frameworks that are aligned with market practice and new regulatory requirements. He has also delivered large-scale compliance projects for industrial and technology clients.
Kasper is a certified IT lawyer and holds ITIL and PRINCE2 certifications, supplemented by training in ISO 27001 and participation in a cybersecurity network.
He is recognised for concise, commercially focused advice and seamless cross-disciplinary execution. Kasper collaborates closely with colleagues across the GDPR, cybersecurity and other disciplines to deliver practical, business-oriented guidance on critical technology initiatives, regulatory challenges and disputes.
