Profile
José Tomás Lavín is a senior associate of the Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions and Family Business practices.
He has experience in corporate restructuring processes, mergers and acquisitions of companies and significant assets, and negotiation of shareholders' agreements. He also advice family businesses analyzing the different scenarios of continuity and design family succession plans in relation to the business strategic plan, preparing family protocols and designing family governance structures.
Prior to joining Garrigues, he worked as an associate at Barros & Errázuriz Abogados on the Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions team between 2014 and 2018.
