Joe Lecroy is an associate in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group who advises corporate, nonprofit and governmental entities within the healthcare industry on various regulatory and transactional matters. He assists healthcare providers, physician groups, hospital systems, private equity-backed healthcare platforms, nonprofit health organizations and governmental subdivisions in navigating the complexities of a heavily regulated industry.

Joe represents clients in transactional matters involving M&A, corporate governance and physician employment negotiations. He also counsels clients on regulatory compliance issues, including individual and facility licensure, medical staff credentialing and peer review, corporate practice of medicine, the Texas Public Information Act, and fraud and abuse laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and False Claims Act.

With deep experience in structuring entities, conducting peer reviews, communicating with licensing agencies, and evaluating contractual arrangements for fraud and abuse risk, Joe’s work is characterized by strong analytical skills, proficient negotiation, and the ability to simplify and communicate intricate legal concepts. By staying current on healthcare policy changes, he effectively tackles emerging issues and conducts due diligence, research and document drafting in an efficient and thorough manner.
