Jimmy joined Lavery as a student in 2023 and is currently articling with the firm. He completed a Bachelor of Laws at the Université du Québec à Montréal and will complete his studies with a Juris Doctor at the Université de Montréal.

Professional Career
During his senior year, Jimmy competed in the Guy-Guérin Moot Court Competition, where he distinguished himself by receiving the award for best witness interrogation. His team also placed second, earning them a spot in the national finals of the Sopinka Cup organized by the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Throughout his undergraduate studies, Jimmy learned to balance academics and sports. As a student-athlete, he stood out through strong performances in track and field across Québec and by competing in several national events, including the Canadian Track and Field Championships. He was also granted the honour of being named captain of the Univeristé de Montréal track and field team in 2024 and 2025.
