Profile
Jessica Stephan is a litigation and tax controversy attorney with experience representing partnerships, corporations, and individuals in disputes with the IRS throughout the audit and administrative appeals process, as well as before the U.S. Tax Court. She also advises taxpayers in matters before U.S. district courts and federal courts of appeal. Her experience includes cases involving conservation easements, tax credits, international tax issues, disallowed business deductions, and multimillion-dollar civil fraud penalties.
In addition to defending taxpayers, Jessica is actively involved in organizations that support women in the legal and tax industries, including Atlanta Women in Tax, where she serves on the membership committee. She earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
