Profile

Jeremy is a highly experienced IP strategist who counsels well-known companies as they acquire and litigate a broad spectrum of intellectual property rights.

He has led numerous brand and technology litigations, including for some of the most iconic names and technologies in the world. Jeremy also helps his clients manage robust licensing and litigation enforcement programs for their brands, technologies, and marketing. He is commended as an industry leader by many ranking and other publications, including Chambers USA, Managing IP, Legal 500, WTR, IFLR, Super Lawyers, and Best Lawyers.

Chambers praises him for being "responsive, smart[,] and business-oriented," further noting that he "knows what he's talking about and has an incredible amount of experience" (2026). And World Trademark Review (WTR) has recognized that Jeremy has "one of the country's most sought-after brand clearance practices" (2024), through which he assists companies in acquiring and rejuvenating distressed brands. As part of that practice, Jeremy helps his clients-including those in the banking and financial services, fashion and retail, entertainment, wine and spirits, professional sports, pharmaceuticals, toy, online media, and computer software industries-quiet title and obtain protection for new and emerging brands and advertising campaigns.

Jeremy is a first chair trial litigator-named nationally by Benchmark Litigation (2024-2025)-who has obtained positive results for his clients in dozens of patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright, and false advertising trials in federal courts and administrative agencies such as the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and US International Trade Commission (ITC). His cases have paved the way and resulted in precedent related to trademark and copyright ownership and infringement, trade secret, issues of privilege, and discovery. In this respect, WTR has called him "a go-to litigator with a track record of high-profile victories across US courts" (2025).

Clients call upon Jeremy to create and enforce e-commerce and anti-piracy programs, and he regularly counsels clients on branding issues related to the Internet, generative AI, and social media. He similarly assists luxury goods and consumer products companies, with an emphasis on those in the entertainment and spirits industries, in enforcing their intellectual property rights through anti-counterfeiting measures.

As an accomplished author, Jeremy is particularly focused on the dynamic and emerging field of trade dress law. He serves as the editor-in-chief of Thomson Reuters' Trade Dress Protection treatise, most recently published in 2025. He is also a sought-after speaker, and often quoted in legal publications on trademark and copyright topics, including their application in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
