Jennifer L. Barton is a Senior Counsel in the Firm's Chicago office and is a member of the Real Estate and Real Estate Finance groups. She represents a wide variety of clients from virtually all aspects of real estate including purchasers and sellers, landlords and tenants, builders and developers, borrowers and lenders, condominium associations and investors. Ms. Barton has comprehensive experience in routine to complex real estate matters ranging from sales and acquisitions, financing, leasing, development and management of industrial, office, multi-family residential, retail and mixed-use properties properties. On behalf of her diverse clients, she has drafted and negotiated purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, escrow and title documents, loan agreements, and other relevant real estate documents.

As a valued counselor, Ms. Barton advises individuals, financial institutions and private enterprises regarding corporate formation, contract negotiation, sales agreements, loan documentation and employment issues.

Ms. Barton partners with her clients to identify and overcome obstacles and develop solutions to accomplish their objectives. Collaborating with other firm attorneys, she seeks to deliver tailored client legal services and deepen client relationships.
