Profile

Jennie is a seasoned litigation and arbitration lawyer who advises and represents clients in complex disputes across a range of industries. She has vast experience acting in the oil and gas, energy, construction, and commercial real estate industries.

Jennie has a comprehensive background in litigating complex commercial contract disputes and contentious shareholder matters. She also regularly represents owners, contractors, and subcontractors in construction disputes arising from major development and infrastructure projects, and for landlords and tenants in a wide range of commercial real estate disputes, including leasing, development, and financing matters.

In addition to her commercial litigation and arbitration practice, Jennie advises and represents governments and private-sector entities involved in Indigenous rights litigation, including matters engaging consultation, accommodation, and treaty obligations.

Jennie has represented clients at all levels of court in Alberta and has appeared before several arbitration tribunals and a wide range of administrative and regulatory boards. Known for a practical and strategic approach to dispute resolution, Jennie works closely with clients to manage risk and achieve efficient, results-focused outcomes in complex and high-stakes matters.
