Javier Romero-Girón is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department at Garrigues (San Sebastián), where he has pursued his professional career since joining the firm in 2001. He specializes in corporate/commercial law and commercial contracts, specifically in advising companies on issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, general commercial contracts and corporate law.

He has participated in sale and purchase transactions at both domestic and international level, as well as in business reorganizations. He also has a wealth of experience of providing advice to R&D and non-profit organizations. Furthermore, he advises on and performs debt-restructuring operations and real estate transactions (shopping centers, project finance, etc.).

Javier Romero-Girón was listed in The Best Lawyers 2014 in the Corporate and M&A Law practice area.

Moreover, he is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences staged by the Firm and various specialist centers (Adegi, Deusto).

Javier is a member of the Guipuzcoa Bar Association.
