Jarrod Martin is a partner in Bradley’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group with a nationwide practice representing creditors, debtors, committees, and trustees. With experience in financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy litigation, he is particularly adept at representing parties seeking to acquire distressed assets from a bankruptcy estate, helping them navigate complex transactions to achieve favorable outcomes. Regardless of the party he represents, Jarrod is passionate about providing the ability to move beyond the circumstances of the bankruptcy and into new opportunities.
With a foundation in the Department of Justice, Jarrod is a seasoned courtroom advocate — whether handling a routine hearing, multi-day trial, or high-stakes litigation. His approach prioritizes strategic, personalized representation, ensuring clients can efficiently resolve bankruptcy challenges and capitalize on new opportunities.
Jarrod has significant experience in energy sector bankruptcies, having represented creditors in some of the largest oil and gas restructurings in Texas, such as Ultra Petroleum, Linn Energy, Whiting Petroleum, and Chesapeake Energy. His industry knowledge enables him to craft tailored solutions that maximize recoveries and minimize risk.
As a Subchapter V trustee, a fiduciary appointed by the Department of Justice in small business Chapter 11 cases, he has unparalleled insight into the nuances of this evolving bankruptcy code. His role provides a unique advantage when advising small businesses and creditors on Subchapter V filings.
